being busy and forgetting to come on here and update! Anywayyy, I pretty much missed the whole summer so here comes a long journal entry.

Last time I updated school was just about to get out x_X Shows how good I am at paying attention to things. But here are the major highlights of my summer;

This one isn't as much of a highlight, its more of a..darklight? Regardless, a few weeks after I was out of school we had some guys up on our roof that were just starting to work on it. The roof was going on like 20 years old or something so we really needed a new one. I was eating breakfast in the TV room and sitting in a chair that was right under the skylight. (I'm sure you're starting to see whats coming at this point) So I was about to take another bite of my rice crispies and the skylight comes crashing down on my head in one big chunk, then it shatters and I get like 123891242894721 cuts all over me. The most serious ones were two on my left arm/hand and one on my leg. I had to get stiches on those three cuts. Everywhere else was just really bad cuts. I was lucky enough to get away with just those, and I amazingly got only one cut on my face and it was just a scratch to the side of it. That was one of two big events during the summer.

Second thing was definatly a highlight! :3 I took a train with my mom's boyfriend, his son and my mom. We all went up to Washington, DC and stayed there for 4 days. We were at this awesome hotel in a pretty central location, right next to the subway. So I got 3 firsts here: First train ride, first taxi ride, and first subway ride Anyway we got a tour of the White House which our congress man from SC set up for us. It was a real treat to get in, and it was really interesting. We also got a tour of the Congress Building which was even more interesting if you ask me because of all the art and architectural details. We also went to the spy museum and a few other cool places. Anyway, after Washington we took two trains to Lake George, New York up in the Adirondack Mountains. It was me, Chase (Todd's son), Todd (Mom's Boyfriend), my mom, my grandparents, my cousin, and my uncle who joined us later on. We all stayed up in a house that my grandpa rented right on the lake. It had a dock and everything. My grandpa grew up there so his mother and all my relatives live up there. So we saw them all throughout the course of two weeks. It was awesome, I'm not gonna go through all the details but it was just a lot of fun. It was my second time staying up on the lake and I loved it even more then the first. Especially since I was older and allowed to do more stuff

Last thing was *drumroll* My mom got married! She married Todd on August 8, 2008 (8/8/08 ) It was such a happy experience for both her and I. She finally got a good husband and I finally got a good father and we both couldn't be happier <3

I'll stop boring you with my summer story now. I'm getting a new computer shortly after I start school again on the 18th. I'll be a sophomore! Which I can't believe but i'm still excited~ About the computer I can't wait because I've been using this piece of crap for almost 4 years. So it's gonna be awesome!!
